Your ticket entry time is flexible. Your tickets will be honored for entry within a 2-hour window.

There is no time limit to your visit other than our closure time. You can anticipate a 1-3 hour adventure at the Science Center. 

Note: Active Members do not need to reserve timed entry. Please show your member card upon arrival at the membership desk to check-in.

If you are eligible for Museums for All, an ASTC member, or have a complimentary admission voucher, please visit the admission counter upon arrival to receive your discounted admission.

Max Weight: 175 pounds

* Riders between 42" and 47" may ride ONLY if accompanied by a second rider who is 48" or taller and 16 years of age or older.

Please Note: Max Flight: Full Motion Simulator is not recommended for persons who experience motion sickness; experience claustrophobia; are pregnant; are epileptic; have heart conditions, back or neck ailments, or any serious disabilities; or are in a condition at the time of the ride that would impair judgment.

Birthday Party registration

Birthday parties are available Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM – 12 PM and 2 PM – 4 PM.

To find an available party slot, click OTHER DATES to see a calendar of possible dates. Then, click OTHER TIMES to see available times. Only one party may be booked into each time slot. If a timeslot is not visible, it has already been booked.

Your party includes:

• Party Room: Private use of our birthday party room, including tables with coverings, chairs, and easy access to the galleries.
• Access to Exhibitions: Party guests can enjoy exploring the science center before and after the allotted party time with adult supervision.
• Set-Up/Clean-Up: 30 minutes is given before and after the scheduled party time to set up and clean up decorations, cake, presents, etc.
• Guests: Up to 30 guests (combined children and adults).
• T-shirt: An exclusive science center t-shirt for the birthday child (youth sizes only).
• Party Host: An assigned staff member will be in the party room to greet guests, answer questions, and handle emergencies.
  • Please note: party hosts are not responsible for the entertainment of party guests.

Food for your party can be purchased from our onsite cafe by filling out this form.

Join us on Wednesday, May 6th from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm to celebrate our newly renovated outdoor picnic area, generously funded by the Speer Foundation.

• Remarks from Cabot Pyle, Executive Director of the Speer Foundation.
• Catered lunch and refreshments, provided by Adventure Science Center.
• Hands-on maker activity stations for everyone to enjoy!
